     William Buckley Lynn Hogue was born on 17 September 1985. He is the son of "Buddy" Hogue and Brenda Jo Booth. William Buckley Lynn Hogue married Renee Rybicki on 22 May 2011.¹

     Daniel Brett Hogue was born on 22 February 1987. He is the son of "Buddy" Hogue and Brenda Jo Booth.

     Randi Jo Hogue was born on 7 February 1982. She is the daughter of "Buddy" Hogue and Brenda Jo Booth.

     Jill Diane Spear was born on 7 October 1976. She is the daughter of "Buddy" Hogue and Brenda Jo Booth.¹
     "Jo": Jill Hogue's mother died when Jill was a very young child. Her name was Diane Spear Hogue. Brenda adopted Jill after she and Buddy were
married.

     (?) King and Lisa Ann Booth were divorced. (?) King married Lisa Ann Booth, daughter of William Wayne Booth and Mildred Maxine "Jo" Wilfong.

     Moses Clarendon Hornbeck was born on 2 December 1861 in Upshur, West Virginia.^2,1,3,4,5 He was the son of William Hornbeck and Frances E. (?).¹ Moses Clarendon Hornbeck married Phoebe Elizabeth "Betty" Boyce on 25 August 1884 in Upshur, West Virginia.⁶ Moses Clarendon Hornbeck died on 10 March 1929 in Upshur, West Virginia, at age 67.

     Phoebe Elizabeth "Betty" Boyce was born on 12 March 1861 in Barbour, West Virginia.^2,3,4,5 She married Moses Clarendon Hornbeck, son of William Hornbeck and Frances E. (?), on 25 August 1884 in Upshur, West Virginia.⁶ Phoebe Elizabeth "Betty" Boyce died on 15 December 1943 in Upshur, West Virginia, at age 82.

     Minerva Cutright was born circa 1838 in Lewis (or Upshur), Virginia.^3,4,5,6,7 She was the daughter of Abram Cutright and Mary Ann Weatherholt.² Minerva Cutright married Asby Poole Cutright, son of Enoch Cutright and Catherine Warner, on 10 January 1861.^8,2,9 Minerva Cutright died on 17 May 1870 in Upshur, West Virginia.^4,3 She was buried after 17 May 1870 in Cutright Cemetery, Upshur, West Virginia.¹⁰
     Minerva Cutright was also known as Manerva Cutright.¹¹ Minerva Cutright was also known as Marianna Cutright.¹² Minerva Cutright was also known as Manurva Cutright.¹

     Asby Poole Cutright was born on 24 November 1834 in West Virginia.^{4,5,6,7,8,9,10} He was the son of Enoch Cutright and Catherine Warner.³ Asby Poole Cutright married Minerva Cutright, daughter of Abram Cutright and Mary Ann Weatherholt, on 10 January 1861.^11,1,12 Asby Poole Cutright married Naomi A. Teter, daughter of Enoch Teter and Mahala Calhoun, on 3 May 1871.^13,3 Asby Poole Cutright died on 23 December 1917 in Upshur, West Virginia, at age 83.^14,2
     Ashby Cutright helped build a church at Hampton, Upshur County, West Virginia, and while building the church, kept a detailed journal (kept by Bobby Teets) of expenses and wages for work done. He often took payment in trade of goods and services. As of 2001, the church was still being used. Asby Poole Cutright was also known as Asby Cutright.² Asby Poole Cutright was also known as Asberry Cutright.¹⁵

     Diane Spear married "Buddy" Hogue.

     Jill Diane Hogue was born on 7 October 1976.¹ She is the daughter of "Buddy" Hogue and Diane Spear.

     William Simpson "Pistol Bill" Johnson married "Ernie" Young. William Simpson "Pistol Bill" Johnson was born on 13 November 1871 in Kincaid, Fayette, West Virginia.^2,3,4 He was the son of John Miles Johnson and Caroline Woodrum.² William Simpson "Pistol Bill" Johnson married Allie Groves in 1907.⁵ William Simpson "Pistol Bill" Johnson married Erma Young, daughter of Milton W. Young and Sallie Carry, in 1919.⁵ William Simpson "Pistol Bill" Johnson died on 4 August 1942 in Charleson, Kanawha, West Virginia, at age 70.⁴

"WILLIAM S. JOHNSON was re-elected state treasurer of West Virginia in 1920, and his second term in office is a compliment to his sound business ability and the efficiency with which he has administered the great responsibilities of handling the financial affairs of the state.

To his present honorable position Mr. Johnson has come through a career that presents few extraordinary instances but has been a steady struggle on the part of a normally
ambitious, self reliant and thoroughly honest character. He was born in Fayette County, where he still resides, in 1871, son of Miles and Caroline (Woodrum) Johnson. His early life was spent on a farm. As a boy he went to live with his grandparents. His grandfather, Rev. William Johnson, was a farmer and local Methodist minister, a wise, good
man of splendid natural attainments, who afforded the very best of influences tor the developing character of his grandson. The latter lived in the country and worked on the
farm, attended school only two months each year, and the sum total of his school advantages was extremely limited.

He had an ambition to teach, and by attending local teachers institutes passed the required examination and was granted a first grade certificate. Mr. Johnson taught in Fayette County for about ten years. In 1902 he was elected county superintendent of schools of Fayette County, hold-
ing that office four years.

While still county superintendent he was elected in 1904 a member of the State Senate from Fayette County. He was re-elected in 1908, and sat in the upper branch of the Legislature from Fayette County for eight years.

Mr. Johnson was nominated, by the republican party for state treasurer in 1916, and in 1920 had no opposition for the nomination and began his second term March 5, 1921.

It is doubtful if any preceding state treasurer has made as fine a record for efficiency and faithful and expeditious handling of the affairs of this office as Mr. Johnson. He
has insisted from the first that the business of the office should be conducted on the principles demanded by any private corporation. His office force is organized and its work
carried out with this idea steadfastly in view. He has infused his personal ideas into the office personnel, and has also introduced equipment and machinery for systematizing
and expediting his work and saving labor. In the treasurer's office are such labor saving machines as a signagraph for signing checks, bookkeeping and posting machines, adding machines, mimeograph machines, all of the electrically
operated type, and a machine for cancelling state bonds and
coupons.

The disbursements of the state treasurer's office run from $15,000,000 to $20,000,000 annually. The best evidence of business-like administration can be found in the record that not a cent has been lost to the state through
his office and every cent handled can be accounted for. Mr. Johnson while state treasurer has been especially well known because of his aggressive fight against the antiquated depository law of West Virginia, a law copied from old Virginia more than half a century ago. The system has remained unchanged, an incubus on the efficient and business-like handling of state finances, and only the exceeding carefulness of a state treasurer like Mr. Johnson has avoided
heavy losses that are inseparable from the risks involved in the law itself, in spite of all vigilance exercised by officials. Mr. Johnson while state treasurer has studied and collected data from practically every state in the Union and also from private corporations illustrating the best
means of handling finances, and out of this wide study and experience he has prepared bills for proposed laws, thus placing the responsibility for the present system squarely up to the Legislature.

At the annual convention of the State Auditors and Treasurers Association of the United States held in Atlantic City in October, 1921, Mr. Johnson was elected second vice president. He was also honored by being invited
to deliver an address on the subject "How and by Whom Should Public Funds Be Deposited."

Mr. Johnson is a member of the Methodist Church, and is affiliated with the Knights of Pythias, Elks and Moose. He married Miss Ernie Young, who was born and reared in Charleston. Mr. Johnson has his official residence at Charleston, but his home is at Mount Hope in Fayette
County.⁶
This William Sydney Johnson was a 2-term Treasurer of the state of West Virginia. Dorothy Rosabell Johnson (Raynes Harclerode)'s father by the same name got his name from this William Sydney Johnson.

     Alfred M. Yeatman III married Dianna Leigh Johnson, daughter of Gary Lee Johnson and Arlene Rosalie Kemp, in May 1994.¹

     Paula Lynn Johnson was born on 15 January 1971.¹ She is the daughter of Gary Lee Johnson and Arlene Rosalie Kemp. Paula Lynn Johnson married (?) Harrison on 12 June 1999.

     Trevor Miles Yeatman was born on 23 May 1994. He is the son of Alfred M. Yeatman III and Dianna Leigh Johnson.

     Marilyn Akey married Kenneth Blair Gum, son of Stanford Bayard Gum and Glendoline Ruth "Sue" Wilfong.

     Zane Bailey Gum was born on 20 April 1998. He is the son of Kenneth Blair Gum and Marilyn Akey.

     Zoe Alexandra Gum was born on 28 June 1999. She is the daughter of Kenneth Blair Gum and Marilyn Akey.

     Walton Bright Gum was born on 28 January 1905 in Upshur, West Virginia.^2,3,4,5,6,7 He was the son of Joseph Blair Gum and Myrtie May "Myrtie" Karickhoff.¹ Walton Bright Gum married Gladys Irene Simons circa 1927.⁷ Walton Bright Gum died on 24 September 1978 in Oscoda, Iosco, Michigan, at age 73.^4,2

     Gladys Irene Simons married Walton Bright Gum, son of Joseph Blair Gum and Myrtie May "Myrtie" Karickhoff, circa 1927.²

     Jacob Teets was born circa 1787 in Brandonville, Preston, Virginia.^2,3,4,5,6 He was the son of Henry Teets.² Jacob Teets married Mary Barbara Miller, daughter of George Miller, on 11 August 1806 in Shenandoah, Virginia.^7,8,9,10,11 Jacob Teets died between 1860 and 1870 in Preston, West Virginia.^5,12

"The Teets family is of German origin. In Germany they spelled their name Tietz.

Jacob Teets is the first Teets of which we have definite information (1st generation). His father came to the United States from Germany and settled near Washington D.C. and from this point the family scattered. The father seems to have moved to Brandonsville West Virginia not far from Aurora West Virginia in Preston County.

Jacob Teets married Barbara (Barbary) Miller in Shenandoah County Virginia. The Millers lived near Woodstock Virginia. Jacob and Barbara Miller Teets lived on Branch Mountain about 25-30 miles from Moorefield in Hardy County. They had a large family of 13 children."^13,14 "I believe this Jacob Teets along with Michael and Christian Teets fought in the War of 1812 in the 2nd regiment with Captain Evans in the Virginia Militia. Jacob married Barbara Miller and Michael married Margaret Miller. They were probably cousins who married sisters or cousins.

There is always the possibility that Jacob, Michael and Christian were brothers, but I don't know. More likely cousins. Michael and Jacob always deserted together when they wanted leave from the military."¹⁵ Jacob Teets was also known as Jacob Deets.³ Jacob Teets was also known as Jacob Tetes.⁴ Jacob Teets was also known as Jacob Dietz.⁹ He lived in 1860 in Hardy, Virginia.⁴
