The deceased, who was the wife of John Wiegand, died at her home, 103 North Mill street, on Thursday, July 30, aged 71 years. Mrs. Wiegand has lived in Massillon for forty years, coming here from Bridgewater, Pa., in 1868. She was born in Beaver county, Pa., on the farm of her father, John Teets, in 1837, and was married to John Duerr in 1859. Mr. Duerr died in Massillon in 1873, and the following year she married John Wiegand, who survives her. She is also survived by two sons and two daughters and four grandchildren. The children are F. J. Duerr, of Council Bluffs, la.; John Wiegand, jr., of Massillon, 102 North Mill street; Mrs. Lena Oehl, 18 South West street, Massillon, and Elizabeth Duerr, of New York city. The grandchildren, are William Oehl and Bregretta Oehl, Massillon, and Frederick and Eleanor Duerr, Council Bluffs, la.     Mrs Charlotte Wiegand, Whose Death Occurred July 30.
    The death of Mrs. Charlotte Wiegand has already been briefly recorded in The Independent. The deceased, who was the wife of John Wiegand, died at her home, 103 North Mill street, on Thursday, July 30, aged 71 years. Mrs. Wiegand has lived in Massillon for forty years, coming here from Bridgewater, Pa., in 1868. She was born in Beaver county, Pa., on the farm of her father, John Teets, in 1837, and was married to John Duerr in 1859. Mr. Duerr died in Massillon in 1873, and the following year she married John Wiegand, who survives her. She is also survived by two sons and two daughters and four grandchildren. The children are F. J. Duerr, of Council Bluffs, la.; John Wiegand, jr., of Massillon, 102 North Mill street; Mrs. Lena Oehl, 18 South West street, Massillon, and Elizabeth Duerr, of New York city. The grandchildren, are William Oehl and Bregretta Oehl, Massillon, and Frederick and Eleanor Duerr, Council Bluffs, la. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Sunday from the house, and 1:30 from St. Paul's Lutheran church. Interment in Massillon cemetery.
