[S2195] Obit: Charles J. Wilfong, Rev. Charles J. Wilfong, age 85, of Rt. 2, Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, December 20, 2009, at his home. He was born on January 7, 1924, in Upshur County, a son of the late Charles Everett and Beatrice Lewis Wilfong. He is survived by his wife, Glenna Manley Wilfong; two sons, Burton and wife Sue Wilfong, and Tim Wilfong; and one daughter, Glenda and husband Gary Bailey, all of Buckhannon. In addition to his wife and children, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition, three brothers, Glenn Wilfong of Alabama, Frank Wilfong of Buckhannon, and Don Wilfong of Ohio; and one sister Bonnie Hardman of Buckhannon survive as well. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Rev. Wilfong attended the Reed Chapel United Methodist Church where he taught the adult Sunday school class and occasionally filled in as pastor. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy.

Friends will be received from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel. The funeral will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ken Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Bailey Cemetery where the Buckhannon VFW Post #3663, The Frank B. Bartlett Post #7 American Legion, and the DAV Chapters #5 and #36 will conduct military honors.

Monday, April 28, 2003, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born March 28, 1935, in Upshur County, a daughter of the late Roscoe
and Ellinor Kasten Manley.
She was united in marriage on April 3, 1953, to Harold Donald Wagoner, who
survives.
She is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. Steven (Donna) Perkins of Route
2, Buckhannon, and Mrs. Bob (Coleen) Arbogast of Buckhannon; one son, Danny and
wife, Donna Wagoner, of Route 2, Buckhannon; six grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren; one brother, Eric Manley of Route 2, Buckhannon; three sisters,
Mrs. Charles (Glenna) Wilfong, Mrs. Donis (Rowena) Cutright and Mrs. Hayward
(Retha) Lewis, all of Route 2, Buckhannon.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Ivan Manley.
Mrs. Wagoner was a Methodist by faith.
Friends will be received at Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel today from 4
p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Heavner
& Cutright Funeral Chapel with Pastor Eddie McDaniels officiating. Interment
will follow in Bailey Cemetery. The Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel is in

[S634] Obit: Thomas Arnold, Thomas ARNOLD Thomas W. Arnold Sr. 75, of 419 Winmer Street, died May 11, 1980 in Memorial Hospital. He was born March 14, 1905 in Davis, WVa., he was the son of the late Obie W. Arnold and Zona M. (Teets) Arnold. He was a retired employee of Amcelle Plant of Celanese Fibers Corporation, where he had been employed 35 years. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. He is survived by his widow, Marie (Tyson) Arnold; one son, Thomas W. Arnold Jr., with the Marine Corps in Indianapolis, Ind; two daughters, Mrs. Zona M. Detrick, Cumberland, Md.; and Mrs. Glenda Brook Green, Oakland; four brothers, James Arnold and C. George Arnold, both of Davis, WVa.; Parker Arnold, Hopewell, Va., and Russell Arnold, Cumberland; two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Davis, Wheeling, WVa.; and Mrs. Mildred Feller, Grantsville, Md.; and four grandchildren. Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to a favorite charity. Services were conducted in the funeral home by the Rev. Lee McDaniel. Graveside services conducted by the Rev. Harley Baldwin with interment in Davis Cemetery, Davis, WVa. The Republic May 15, 1980.
