George W. Rlnker
George Washington Rlnker, 67, retired B. and O. carman, died early yesterday morning at his
residence 614 Montreal avenue, after a brief illness. His wife, Mrs. Lucy P. (Teets) Rinker,
preceded him in death.
Mr. Rinker was a native of Toms Brook, Va, and a son of the late Loomls and Rebecca
Rlnker. He held membership in Lodge No. 656, Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen of America.
Surviving are four children. Parren R, Rlnker, Mrs. Cora A. Teets, Miss Mamie V. Rinker and
Mrs. Gladys Appel, all of this city; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Siebel, of Detroit; a half-sister, Miss Molly
Toppin, of Lantz Mills, Va.; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services -will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a. m. at the home by the Rev. J, Edgar
Walter, pastor of Bethel and Calvary Evangelical Church The body will then be taken to the Kines

Sue believes that Virginia "Ginnie" Teets, Laban's wife, made (most of) the entrees in the bible, because she omitted herself. Last entries in the bible were made by the youngest child, Amanda, at a later date. In family portrait, everyone holds an object indicating they are literate and can read and write. In the bible record, the oddity is that the births are recorded in the death side and vice versa. The added children are taped to the page, a torn piece with names taped to the births (on the death page). Note the spellings.

Mildred R. "Polly" (Teets) Spicer, 85, of Cumberland, died Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Memorial Hospital.
Born July 11, 1920, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Cora Alice Teets. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William J. Spicer, one brother, Robert L. Teets, Sr., and two sisters, Violet M. "Tootie" Smith and Della S. Campbell. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Spicer was owner and operator of the Carnation Beauty Shop, a 1938 graduate of Fort Hill High School, 1939 graduate of Cora Cages Beauty School, a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church, the Church Sodality, Ridgeley Senior Citizens, former member of the Allegany County Hairdresser Association, and a member of 4th District Women Democrat Club. Polly was employed as the beautician at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., for 50 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Frances Alt and husband Bruce; and Susan V. Beck and husband Bob, all of Cumberland; seven grandchildren, William G. Alt and wife Terry, Reston, VA; Robert B. Alt and wife Vikki, Morris Chapel, TN; Sheila S. Greise and husband Donald, Cumberland; Sheri K. Rotruck and husband Tony, Bel Air, Cumberland; Kirk L. Beck and wife Ellen, Cumberland; Capt. Sarah S. Beck, U.S.A.F., Little Rock, AK; and Kyle R. Beck and fianc? Brie Burns, Cumberland; and nine great-grandchildren, Mary Kathryn Alt; Bethany N. Alt; Caitlin R. Alt; Joshua B. Alt; Justin D. Alt; Jeremy L. Alt; Rachael J. Greise; Sharice L. Kessel; and Isaiah F. Nizer.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary?s Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Milton A. Hipsley as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery.

George Washington Rlnker, 67, retired B. and O. carman, died early yesterday morning at his
residence 614 Montreal avenue, after a brief illness. His wife, Mrs. Lucy P. (Teets) Rinker,
preceded him in death.
Mr. Rinker was a native of Toms Brook, Va, and a son of the late Loomls and Rebecca
Rlnker. He held membership in Lodge No. 656, Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen of America.
Surviving are four children. Parren R, Rlnker, Mrs. Cora A. Teets, Miss Mamie V. Rinker and
Mrs. Gladys Appel, all of this city; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Siebel, of Detroit; a half-sister, Miss Molly
Toppin, of Lantz Mills, Va.; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services -will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a. m. at the home by the Rev. J, Edgar
Walter, pastor of Bethel and Calvary Evangelical Church The body will then be taken to the Kines
