     Philip Raynes was born on 25 February 1720/21 in York, Maine.¹ He was the son of Nathan Raynes and Elizabeth Payne. Philip Raynes died on 12 April 1728 in York, Maine, at age 7.

     Samuel Raynes was born on 17 November 1721 or 17 November 1723 in York, Maine.³ He was the son of Nathan Raynes and Elizabeth Payne. Samuel Raynes married Mariam "Mary" Jaques, daughter of Lt. Richard Jaques and Mary Harmon, on 8 June 1745.^1,3 Samuel Raynes married Anna Grinell, daughter of James Grinell, on 8 December 1750.^1,3 Samuel Raynes died before 1789.³

     Mariam "Mary" Jaques was born on 27 June 1725.² She was the daughter of Lt. Richard Jaques and Mary Harmon.² Mariam "Mary" Jaques married Samuel Raynes, son of Nathan Raynes and Elizabeth Payne, on 8 June 1745.^1,2 Mariam "Mary" Jaques died on 26 February 1747 in York, Maine, at age 21.²

     Anna Grinell was born in Kittery, York, Maine.¹ She is the daughter of James Grinell.¹ Anna Grinell married Samuel Raynes, son of Nathan Raynes and Elizabeth Payne, on 8 December 1750.^2,1
     Anna Grinell was also known as Anne Grindle.¹

     Anne Raynes was born on 9 July 1727 in York, Maine.¹ She was the daughter of Nathan Raynes and Elizabeth Payne. Anne Raynes died on 19 April 1728 in York, Maine.¹

     Mary Frances "Fannie" Kincaid was born on 19 October 1869.^3,4,5 She was the daughter of Mark Kincaid and Elizabeth J. Woodrum.¹ Mary Frances "Fannie" Kincaid married Houston McCellan "Mac" Johnson, son of John Miles Johnson and Caroline Woodrum, on 29 October 1887 in married by his grandfather, William Johnson, Fayette, West Virginia.^1,6 Mary Frances "Fannie" Kincaid died before 1945.⁷

     Houston McCellan "Mac" Johnson was born on 11 November 1861 in West Virginia.^5,6,7,8 He was born on 13 November 1861 in Kincaid, Fayette, West Virginia.^9,8,10,11 He was the son of John Miles Johnson and Caroline Woodrum.^3,2,4 Houston McCellan "Mac" Johnson married Mary Frances "Fannie" Kincaid, daughter of Mark Kincaid and Elizabeth J. Woodrum, on 29 October 1887 in married by his grandfather, William Johnson, Fayette, West Virginia.^12,13 Houston McCellan "Mac" Johnson died on 20 March 1945 in Kincaid, Fayette, West Virginia, at age 83.⁹
     According to Rosabell Johnson Raynes Harclerode:

"Mac built the house of Morris Kincaid, who lived next door to Mac and Fannie. For his own house, Mac hand cut stone to put on the sides of the house, and it had a concrete floor.

You had to drive across the railroad tracks, and up the creek bed to get to Uncle Morris' house from Mac's house. Uncle Morris was the schoolteacher and principal at the school that Rose attended as a young girl. Rose always complained that Morris "picked on her" because he made her sit in the front row, and he always was asking her questions.

Mac was a small man, but wiry, and grandma Fannie was heavy set.

There must have been 5-6 sets of railroad tracks to cross to get to the company store or to school, or to the post office, and many times she would crawl under the railroad cars to cross the tracks, to the dismay of Rose's mother.

Buddy bought Rose a bicycle and Rose LOVED it. She used to go to the store and buy stuff with script (money coins/paper as good as money for credit to be used at the company store).

On the way to the store, Rose would have to go past "colored town" to get to the store. Rose went by one day on the way to the store, and when she came back, there were several of them holding hands across the road to prevent Rose from getting through. She decided to stop when she saw them, then went as fast as she could right at them...she scraped her face, and bent a wheel on the bike....one of them was laying on the road, not moving...they picked her up and took her away. Rose fixed the bent wheel and handlebars, and went home...told Dad what happened, and he went to the supervisor of the Page area, and told him what happened. Dad let out a few unsavory words, and nothing more was ever said about it. All Rose knew was that she was never bothered by them again.

They used to live on $1 a day. After Dad would work all day, they could claim their $1, and then go to the company store and spend it on food or whatever.

One of the butchers was Mr. NIchols...who was very nice and Rose always wanted him to wait on her."¹⁴ According to Rosabell, Mac often "preached"...she did not know if he was ordained.

He preached at the Methodist church in Kincaid frequently.¹⁴ Houston McCellan "Mac" Johnson was also known as Mack C. Johnson.⁷

     William "Billy" Johnson was born in December 1928 in Fayette, West Virginia.^1,2 He was the son of William Sidney Johnson and Goldie Arnola Detrick. William "Billy" Johnson died on 24 June 1932 in Coal Valley Hospital, Montgomery, Fayette, West Virginia, at age 3.^3,1

     Rosa Bell McKinney was born in April 1872 in West Virginia.^4,5,1 She was the daughter of Jesse Green McKinney and Emily Francis Mills.¹ Rosa Bell McKinney married Benjamin Dietrick circa 1890.^1,2 Rosa Bell McKinney married (?) Thomson circa 1903.¹ Rosa Bell McKinney died after 1910.¹
     Rosa Bell McKinney was also known as Rose Bell.²

     John Net Johnson married Harriet (?). John Net Johnson was born in 1864.

     Arrena V Teets was born on 24 January 1853 in Barbour, West Virginia.^4,1,5,6,7,8 She was the daughter of Martin Teets and Mary Ann "Polly" Lantz (Lance).³ Arrena V Teets married Andrew Jackson Cutright, son of Nathan Cutright and Susanna Hinkle, on 31 December 1873.^9,10 Arrena V Teets died on 7 February 1932 in Buckhannon, Upshur, West Virginia, at age 79.^4,5,1 She was buried after 7 February 1932 in Hampton Cemetery, Buckhannon, Upshur, West Virginia.^11,5,12

     Andrew Jackson Cutright was born on 10 May 1853 in Cutright Run, Lewis, West Virginia.^1,2,3,4 He was the son of Nathan Cutright and Susanna Hinkle. Andrew Jackson Cutright married Arrena V Teets, daughter of Martin Teets and Mary Ann "Polly" Lantz (Lance), on 31 December 1873.^5,6 Andrew Jackson Cutright died on 10 May 1903 in Upshur, West Virginia, at age 50.¹ He was buried after 10 May 1903 in Lanham Cemetery, Upshur, West Virginia.¹
     Andrew Jackson Cutright was also known as Richard Cutright.⁷

     Martha Pritt was born circa 1815 in Virginia.^3,4,5 She was the daughter of Elijah Pritt and Elizabeth (?).³ Martha Pritt was born circa 1825.⁶ She married Henry Wilfong [Jr.], son of Henry Wilfong and Mary Elizabeth Simmons, on 25 August 1853 in Upshur, West Virginia.^7,3,8
     Martha rode an elephant in the John Robinson circus, exhibited at Buckhannon in 1876.⁹ In the 1870 census, Martha was in Ashley Wesley's household listed as 56 and "keeping house" (not listed as a relative). Ashley was listed as 22. Martha was married to Henry Wilfong Jr.¹⁰ Martha Pritt was also known as Martha Prett.³

     William Matthew Miles was born on 30 November 1906 in Upshur, West Virginia.^1,3,4 He was the son of George Iris Miles and Clara Ellen "Clarey" Miller.² William Matthew Miles died in April 1981 in Buckhannon, Upshur, West Virginia, at age 74.³

     Donis Virginia Miles was born on 15 October 1899 in Upshur, West Virginia.^2,3,4,5,6 She was the daughter of George Iris Miles and Clara Ellen "Clarey" Miller.¹ Donis Virginia Miles married Blonda Lee "Blondie" Hollen, son of Robert Lee Hollen and Martha Ellen "Ella" Hinkle, on 23 March 1918 in Upshur, West Virginia.⁷ Donis Virginia Miles died on 1 September 1988 in Parkersburg, Wood, West Virginia, at age 88.² She was buried after 1 September 1988 in Sand Run Baptist Cemetery, Upshur, West Virginia.⁸
     Donis Virginia Miles was also known as Donas Hollen.⁹ Donis Virginia Miles was also known as Donnis V. Miles.⁴ Donis Virginia Miles was also known as Domice Miles.³

     Granville Teets was born on 19 September 1854 in (West) Virginia.^{6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,1,14,15} He was the son of Martin Teets and Mary Ann "Polly" Lantz (Lance).⁵ Granville Teets married Ida C. Dean, daughter of George W. Dean and Lucinda Hinkle, on 10 October 1903 in Upshur, West Virginia.^16,1 Granville Teets died on 19 March 1939 in Cerebral apoplexy, Upshur, West Virginia, at age 84.^{6,8,7,13,1,14,15} He was buried on 22 March 1939 in Old Heavner Cemetery, City District, Buckhannon, Upshur, West Virginia.^7,17,8,18,6

W.      William Lantz was born circa 1798 in Pendleton, Virginia.^2,1,3 He was the son of George Eurid Lantz and Mary Frances Woodford.¹ William Lantz married Nancy Lanham, daughter of Jeremiah Lanham and Barbara Bense, on 23 December 1819 in Lewis, Virginia.³ William Lantz died on 7 September 1855 in Barbour, Virginia.^2,1,3

     Nancy Lanham was born in 1803 in Frederick, Virginia.^2,3 She was the daughter of Jeremiah Lanham and Barbara Bense.¹ Nancy Lanham married William Lantz, son of George Eurid Lantz and Mary Frances Woodford, on 23 December 1819 in Lewis, Virginia.² Nancy Lanham died after 1850.²

     Henry Wilfong [Jr.] was born between 1795 and 1799 in Virginia.^5,6,7,4 He was the son of Henry Wilfong and Mary Elizabeth Simmons.^3,4 Henry Wilfong [Jr.] married Mary Karahoof on 26 August 1813 in Augusta, Virginia.^8,9,10,4 Henry Wilfong [Jr.] married Martha Pritt, daughter of Elijah Pritt and Elizabeth (?), on 25 August 1853 in Upshur, West Virginia.^11,5,12 Henry Wilfong [Jr.] died between 1860 and 1870.^13,14

Ashley Pritt is shown in 1860 Census in the same household with Henry Wilfong and Martha Pritt. The same story goes for William Alonzo Wilfong and William Pritt, who was also shown in the same 1860 census.

"The Henry Wilfong family settled on the waters of Truby's Run before the Civil War. In this family were several children; namely, George, Samuel Henry, John, Daniel, Columbus, Bilda, Phillip, Abraham, Mary Elizabeth, Loise, Tilda, and Loretta.

Four of the boys, George, Samuel Henry, John, and Daniel, served as soldiers in the Civil War on the Union side. Samuel Henry lost his life in the service of his country.

The family is noted for its industry and has added largely to the development of the Truby's Run locality."¹⁸
