     Orval Dewey Teets was born on 15 July 1898 in Dority, Preston, West Virginia.3,4,2,5,6,7,8,9,10 He was the son of Harrison Greely Teets and Mary Magdalene "Mollie" Harned.1 Orval Dewey Teets married Freda May DeBerry, daughter of Ernest Carl DeBerry and Ethel Gertrude Teets, on 3 September 1923 in Oakland, Garrett, Maryland.11,12 Orval Dewey Teets died on 21 February 1982 in Terra Alta, Preston, West Virginia, at age 83.11,4,6,5 He was buried after 21 February 1982 in Terra Alta Cemetery, Terra Alta, Preston, West Virginia.6,5
     Orval Dewey Teets was also known as Orville Teets.3 Orval Dewey Teets was also known as Dewey Orval Teets.6,12 He registered for the WWI Draft on on 12 September 1918 in Preston, West Virginia.2
