     Ernest Vincent "Buddy" Teets Jr. was born circa 1928.2 He was the son of Ernest Vincent Teets and Lillian "Lillie" Casperson.1 Ernest Vincent "Buddy" Teets Jr. died after 1944.3
     The only son born to Ernest Vincent Teets Sr. and Lillian Casperson, Buddy was struck with what was first thought to be polio. At an early age Buddy suffered a neurological and progressive disorder which paralyzed him from the waist down. Evident in grade school, and more severe as he aged, Buddy suffered many surgeries.

When polio was ruled out, Buddy did not qualify for any help. Doctors thought it might be spinal meningitis. In any evernt,Bella Anderson persuaded United States Steel to provide the many hospital rooms Buddy needed.

When Buddy was 24, he graduated high school and the announcement at his commencement was "Buddy Teets, who has been an inspiration to us all."

With Shirley Ann Teets, Buddy arranged a spaghetti dinner for the family, with NO UTENSILS, and so he had a great sense of humor.

Buddy was a writer. He wrote for the Clairton newspaper at first, and then obtained a job at the Pentagon in Washington DC. He married and his parents moved to Washington to be near him when he died. Upon his death, his wife went to Germany.
