Deceased was born August 5, 1862, at Cranesville, W. Va. and had lived in the Swallow Falls section most of his life. He was a son of the late Samuel Jackson and Betty Hawk Teets. His wife died two years ago. Surviving are one son, Charlie Teets, rout 1, Oakland; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Etta Friend, route 1, Oakland; Mrs. Martha Alice Sines, route 2, Oakland; and Mrs. Theresa Ellen Friend, McHenry. Funeral services were conducted at the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren, Rev. Walter Spiker officiating. Interment in the Henry Sines Cemetery.
