My name is Joette Lynne Teets Ours. I am a descendant of Jacob Teets on my fathers side (Clifton Lee Teets Jr.). I also have Teets on my mother’s side. My Great-Grandmother was Eva Mae Brill Oats. She was born October 8, 1909 and died October 9, 1989. Her mother was a Teets before marring a Brill. The problem is that I can not find which Teets that is. If you can help that would be wonderful.

Delbert Warren Teets, age 76, of Mathias, W.Va., died Oct. 12, 2005, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
Born May 13, 1929, in Kimseys Run, W.Va., he was the son of Arthur and Nettie Halterman Teets. He was a self-employed poultry farmer and had worked for the H.D. Lee Corporation in Broadway for 11 years. Mr. Teets was an Army veteran.
Surviving is his wife, Leona May Hamilton; one son, Donald L. Hamilton, and wife Jacqueline S. Hamilton; one daughter, Teresa L. Benishek, and husband Tod F. Benishek, all of Mathias. Also surviving are two sisters, Addie Lorenz and Agnus Strawderman, both of Mathias.
Two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the McKee Funeral Home Chapel in Baker, W.Va., with the Rev. Landis Doe officiating. Interment will be private at the Hamilton Family Cemetery in Mathias. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the Mathias-Baker Volunteer Fire Company or the Rescue Squad or your local SPCA.
