    All I know is that she was married to a MacDonald when she was very young and they divorced. My grandparents was Edgar and Colby Warner of West Virgina. They both passed away I think in the late 60's. She had a sister named Addie and she married a Mason. She had a brother named Hartzel but he was a Warner. And there was a Clyde Warner which was a brother and it seems like there was another one. She didn't talk much about her life to me, but she married a Ward then moved to Tennessee. She passed away in 1984. Her birthdate was 8-18-1913.I am new at all of this .

    He was born May 6, 1922, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Edgar and Cosbie Teets Warner.
    He was married for 58 years to Camella Lucille Tenney Warner, who survives. They were married at First United Methodist Church in Buckhannon.
    Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Deanna Donn Earhart and husband, Bobby, of Hollywood, Md.; four grandchildren, Michael Wayne Earhart and wife, Tonya, of Martinsburg, Anthony Scott Earhart and wife, Brandy, of Hollwood, Md., Lynette Dawn Galton and husband, Tom, of Summersville, S.C., and William Todd Earhart and wife, Heather, of Chesapeake Beach, Md.; six great-grandchildren, Nick, Kesley and Cory Earhart, Brittany Payne, Kendall and Ethan Galton; one sister, Betty Gaunt and husband, William, of Buckhannon; and one brother, Clyde Warner of Newark, Ohio.
    He was preceded in death by three sisters, Myrtle Ward, Eleanor Mackey and Addie Mason.

    He served in the military from 1942-1946, serving in the 56th Armored Infantry Battalion. He was battlefield commissioned to second lieutenant. He received the World War II Victory Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, American Service Medal, Bronze Star, Distinguished Service Cross and two Purple Hearts. He was the most decorated soldier in the National Guard in the state of West Virginia in 1949.
    He was a member of the Buckhannon Country Club, a life member of the Order of the Purple Heart and the American Legion Post 7.
    He was a member of Tennerton United Methodist Church.
    Friends will be received at Tomblyn-Whitescarver Funeral Chapel Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. William C. Eskew Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. She didn’t marry Gilbert Edgar Warner till 1/6/1917 and of course your mother was born in 1913 not sure what this tells us. I also think there was another daughter during that time but she died at childbirth or shortly after.

     Gilbert Clyde Warner was born on 16 September 1920 in West Virginia.3,2,4 He was the son of Gilbert Edgar Warner and Cosby "Cosbie" Teets.1 Gilbert Clyde Warner married H. Marjorie (?) on 14 March 1976.3 Gilbert Clyde Warner died on 29 December 2008 in Autumn Health Care Center, Newark, New Jersey, at age 88.3 He was buried on 3 January 2009 in Smith Chapel Cemetery.3

I also think there was another daughter during that time but she died at childbirth or shortly after.

  3. [S2051] Obit: Gilbert C. Warner, A funeral service for Gilbert C. Warner, 88, of Hanover, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, with the Rev. Roger Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery, with the Licking County Veterans Alliance conducting military honors.

    Mr. Warner died Monday evening, Dec. 29, 2008, at Autumn Health Care Center in Newark. Born Sept. 16, 1920, in Buckhannon, W.Va., he was the son of the late Edgar and Cosbi (Teets) Warner and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

    Mr. Warner retired in 1982 from the Kroger Co. of Columbus, where he had been a truck driver for 26 years. He was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church and a member of Jeffersonville Lodge 468, F&AM for more than 50 years.

    Surviving is one son, Robert A. (Lyn) Warner, of Bloomingburg; two daughters, Jane (Brooks) Beery, of London, Ohio, and Lucinda (Glenn) Gulick, of Orient; one sister, Betty Gaunt, of Buckhannon, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, H. Marjorie Warner, whom he married March 14, 1976, and who died March 21, 2001; a son, Gilbert C. (Donna) Warner Jr.; a brother, Henry H. Warner; and three sisters, Eleanor Mackey, Addie Mason and Myrtle Ward.

    Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 110 W. Third St., with Masonic services being conducted at 7 p.m.

    Henry Hartzel Warner, 80, of Fairlawn Drive, Buckhannon, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, in Holbrook Nursing Home.
    He was born May 6, 1922, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Edgar and Cosbie Teets Warner.
    He was married for 58 years to Camella Lucille Tenney Warner, who survives. They were married at First United Methodist Church in Buckhannon.
    Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Deanna Donn Earhart and husband, Bobby, of Hollywood, Md.; four grandchildren, Michael Wayne Earhart and wife, Tonya, of Martinsburg, Anthony Scott Earhart and wife, Brandy, of Hollwood, Md., Lynette Dawn Galton and husband, Tom, of Summersville, S.C., and William Todd Earhart and wife, Heather, of Chesapeake Beach, Md.; six great-grandchildren, Nick, Kesley and Cory Earhart, Brittany Payne, Kendall and Ethan Galton; one sister, Betty Gaunt and husband, William, of Buckhannon; and one brother, Clyde Warner of Newark, Ohio.
    He was preceded in death by three sisters, Myrtle Ward, Eleanor Mackey and Addie Mason.
    He was a graduate of Buckhannon Upshur High School and attended the Chicago Institute of Drafting and Engineering. He was a precision machinist at the TRW Co. in Cleveland, Ohio.
    He served in the military from 1942-1946, serving in the 56th Armored Infantry Battalion. He was battlefield commissioned to second lieutenant. He received the World War II Victory Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, American Service Medal, Bronze Star, Distinguished Service Cross and two Purple Hearts. He was the most decorated soldier in the National Guard in the state of West Virginia in 1949.
    He was a member of the Buckhannon Country Club, a life member of the Order of the Purple Heart and the American Legion Post 7.
    He was a member of Tennerton United Methodist Church.
    Friends will be received at Tomblyn-Whitescarver Funeral Chapel Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. William C. Eskew Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Military honors will be presented at the graveside by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3663 and American Legion Frank B. Bartlett Post 7, both of Buckhannon, and the Military Order of the Purple Heart of USA Chapter 697 of Jane Lew.     Henry Hartzel Warner, 80, of Fairlawn Drive, Buckhannon, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, in Holbrook Nursing Home.
    He was born May 6, 1922, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Edgar and Cosbie Teets Warner.
    He was married for 58 years to Camella Lucille Tenney Warner, who survives. They were married at First United Methodist Church in Buckhannon.
    Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Deanna Donn Earhart and husband, Bobby, of Hollywood, Md.; four grandchildren, Michael Wayne Earhart and wife, Tonya, of Martinsburg, Anthony Scott Earhart and wife, Brandy, of Hollwood, Md., Lynette Dawn Galton and husband, Tom, of Summersville, S.C., and William Todd Earhart and wife, Heather, of Chesapeake Beach, Md.; six great-grandchildren, Nick, Kesley and Cory Earhart, Brittany Payne, Kendall and Ethan Galton; one sister, Betty Gaunt and husband, William, of Buckhannon; and one brother, Clyde Warner of Newark, Ohio.
    He was preceded in death by three sisters, Myrtle Ward, Eleanor Mackey and Addie Mason.
    He was a graduate of Buckhannon Upshur High School and attended the Chicago Institute of Drafting and Engineering. He was a precision machinist at the TRW Co. in Cleveland, Ohio.
    He served in the military from 1942-1946, serving in the 56th Armored Infantry Battalion. He was battlefield commissioned to second lieutenant. He received the World War II Victory Medal, European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, American Service Medal, Bronze Star, Distinguished Service Cross and two Purple Hearts. He was the most decorated soldier in the National Guard in the state of West Virginia in 1949.
    He was a member of the Buckhannon Country Club, a life member of the Order of the Purple Heart and the American Legion Post 7.
    He was a member of Tennerton United Methodist Church.
    Friends will be received at Tomblyn-Whitescarver Funeral Chapel Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. William C. Eskew Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Military honors will be presented at the graveside by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3663 and American Legion Frank B. Bartlett Post 7, both of Buckhannon, and the Military Order of the Purple Heart of USA Chapter 697 of Jane Lew. Tomblyn-Whitescarver Funeral Chapel of Buckhannon is in charge of the arrangements for Henry Hartzel Warner. From 11 Jan 2003.

    my real mother was Genevive Haggerty and she lived in West Virgina too. My grandparents are Forrest and Edith Haggerty. I don't remember them at all. Can you find out if they are some Haggerty's in West Virginia. Was there a Jim Teets that collected train sets? I remember when Myrtle and me would make trips every year to West Virginia and I remember playing with trains. And this man made me a small book case out of wood. I was so proud of it.

I think they had 4 kids,Sammy,Georgie,Gerald and Judy which she died when she was 26. But I can't find out nothing about my biological mother which was Genevive Jean Haggerty. And I am trying to find out more about Forrest and Edith(Reynolds)Haggerty.

My parents raised Bob (Robert) from the age of 2 (when his mother, Nellie Bender, died); he was 6 years younger than I and much wilder!
