I haven't looked into her family much.
I'm researching the family for the wife of Don Junior Burke, who is the son of Junior & Mrytle Westman.
I was very interested in your Teets Family Tree and all the info on the elder Teets'. My dad was a very good friend of Joseph Teets (Ruth Teets' brother) They grew up on the prairie of Montana, south of Glasgow and I was born in Glasgow as my folks homesteaded north of Glasgow, nearer to Opheim and the Canadian Border. My dad was born in Canada.
Thanks very much for the additional info.

When Hazel Teets shipped out to the South Pacific during World War II, the newly enlisted Army nurse found herself sleeping in a tent, serving at a combat field hospital, and dodging a sniper's bullet that came whistling through the jungle.
For the first time in her life, the 23-year-old was away from her home in Pennsylvania.
In later years, like many of her generation, she didn't make a big deal of this remarkable episode. "It's just what we did then," she told her two daughters when they pressed her for stories about life as a combat nurse.
She earned a Battle Star and the Meritorious Unit Citation for service to her country.
"She talked about these things in such a matter-of-fact way, but it was clear that it had changed her," said her daughter, Wendy Kenney. "Being through this really extraordinary experience at that young age, she was ready for anything. She rolled with the punches and knew how to adjust."
The competence and compassion Mrs. Teets exhibited in New Guinea 60 years ago served her well throughout her long life. After moving to the Sacramento area in 1968, she was an active medical volunteer and lively community participant until her death Tuesday at her Rancho Cordova home. She was 85.
It seems fitting that this proud Army veteran died on Veterans Day.
She was born Hazel Flickinger in Ambridge, Penn., on Sept. 9, 1918, just two months before the first Armistice Day, which ended World War I.
Her mother went to work as a seamstress after her father died, so 10-year-old Hazel took over running of the house. She graduated from high school in 1936 and moved to Pittsburgh to study nursing at the Presbyterian University Hospital.
In July 1942, she enlisted in the Army Nurse Corps. Four years later, she found herself back in Pennsylvania and in love with another Army veteran, pilot Marshall A. Teets. They married in 1946 and had two daughters, Marsha in 1947 and Wendy in 1951.
When Marshall re-enlisted - this time in the U.S. Air Force - the Teetses embarked on the peripatetic lifestyle of a military family. "Mom was a homemaker," daughter Marsha Thompson said. "By that I mean she made a home for us wherever we were, even if it was only for six weeks. She was a nester."
But she did more than make nests. She worked as a volunteer Red Cross nurse for more than 40 years at military hospitals and blood banks across the nation.
Like many Air Force families who spent time at Sacramento bases, Marshall and Hazel Teets decided to spend their retirement years here. Her husband, who died in 1992, loved the local weather and the golf courses. Mrs. Teets loved the chance to be a medical volunteer at the Mather Air Force Base Hospital.
After it was converted to a Veterans Administration hospital in 1998, she organized and ran the information desk, which was staffed by members of her Rancho Cordova Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10125.
Mrs. Teets was diagnosed with oral cancer a year ago. Still, she kept up her round of volunteer activities. Then, about four weeks ago, she resigned from everything. At last, her daughters believe, their mother was ready to rest.
"For an awful lot of people, she's been an angel," daughter Marsha said. "Now she's up there with an awful lot of angels. I'm sure she's busy, organizing things and making lists and doing what needs to be done." - [S1132] Census: 1920 Beaver, Pennsylvania, Ambridge Ward 4, District 8, January 16-17, 1920, HH#201-274
