    He was a veteran of WWII, wounded in the Battle of the Bulge, and received the Purple Heart. He was a life member of AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood. He was retired from Hillman Barge and had been employed by Parnes Construction Company in Masontown. His wife, Pauline Virginia Crowford Glover, died in 1985. Also deceased are a grandson, Gary Glover, Jr., and infant sister, Mildred Pauline Glover, and his parents.
    He is survived by five children; Mrs. John (Joyce) Savage of Confluence, PA., Gary Glover and Neal Glover both of Uniontown, Mrs. Joseph (Regina) Friend of Uniontown, and Mrs. Harry (Wendy) Friend of McClellandtown, PA; 16 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two sisters; Mrs. Wade (Grace) Fike of Farmington, PA, and Mrs. Frankie (Audrey) Kelley of Brandonville, WV; and a brother, Walter Glover of Markleysburg, PA.
    Friends will be received in the Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home, Hopwood, PA, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. Visitation continures in Uniontown Church of the Brethren on Wednesday, August 12, from 10 to 11AM. Services will then be held. The Rev. Douglas Gehr, his Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

She was born July 29, 1908, in Wharton Township, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of the late Samuel Spencer and Bertha Metheny Teets. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren. She is survived by two sons and spouses, Bobby L. and Thelma Everly, of Bruceton Mills, and Donald R. and Mary Johnson, of Bruceton Mills; a daughter and spouse, Mary Lous and Russell C. Lewis, of Pisgah; a stepson and spouse, Charles and Helen Johnson, of Albright; two stepdaughters and a spouse, Virginia and Irvin Emerson, of Carmichaels, Pa., and Eleanor Hayward, of Santee, Calif.; a sister, Olive Jane Diehr, of Ann Arbor, Mich.; two brothers, James H. Teets, of Donasonville, Ga., and Samuel A. Teets, of Petersburg, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and several stepgrandchildren.

    She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Earl Everly, in 1941; her second husband, Albert M. Johnson, in 1980; two stepsons; and several brothers and sisters.

    Friends may call at Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, until the 2 p.m. service, with the Revs. Vicki Sheppard and James Hinkle officiating.
