    Ellen Tenney was the mother of all of Cain's children. She died on August 13, 1921. Their last child was Myrtle, who was born on March 27, 1920. His second wife was Mary Katherine Fitzgerald (aka Mollie). She was previously married to Forrest Dowell Sandy on May 21, 1900.
    Cain and Mollie had no children.

    I must apologize—I got your package ready, but did not make it to the PO before it closed today. I will drop it in a box but it will not go out until Monday.

    Unfortunately I have very little info on Jake Teets and his family. Hannah Bausell, who married Jake Teets, was a younger sister of William Towson Bausell, Jim’s great grandfather. Over the years I have not spent much time on spouses of those not in our direct line. I have a little more on Jake Teets than some of the others because I found the circus connection very interesting.



    I know a little more now than I did a short time ago, since I found the book, Kentucky through Thick and Thin. If the information in the book is correct (and we know the problems one can have with secondary sources), then Nick Teets wandered into “the highlands of Kentucky” shortly after the end of the Civil War. He married Nancy Elizabeth Elam and they had two daughters and four sons, one of whom was Jake who married Hannah Bausell. I put together a family group sheet with what little information I have, and will include a copy in your package. If I find anything more, I will let you know.

    I must apologize—I got your package ready, but did not make it to the PO before it closed today. I will drop it in a box but it will not go out until Monday.

    Unfortunately I have very little info on Jake Teets and his family. Hannah Bausell, who married Jake Teets, was a younger sister of William Towson Bausell, Jim’s great grandfather. Over the years I have not spent much time on spouses of those not in our direct line. I have a little more on Jake Teets than some of the others because I found the circus connection very interesting.



    I know a little more now than I did a short time ago, since I found the book, Kentucky through Thick and Thin. If the information in the book is correct (and we know the problems one can have with secondary sources), then Nick Teets wandered into “the highlands of Kentucky” shortly after the end of the Civil War. He married Nancy Elizabeth Elam and they had two daughters and four sons, one of whom was Jake who married Hannah Bausell. I put together a family group sheet with what little information I have, and will include a copy in your package. If I find anything more, I will let you know.




    I also have some information on Jake Teets and the Teets Brothers Circus, as well as a few photos that I would be glad to share if you will send me your mailing address. Am I reading your information correctl in seeing that you have not connected Jacob P Teets (who married Hannah) to your Teets family?

    Earlier this afternoon I emailed you some photos. The two of the Teets Bros show were taken in 1902 by Harry Armstrong, according to notes on the back.
