Theodore was a carpentor-stairmaker, mechanic and was an inventor of the Variety Machine, the patent for which was obtained by others. The family lived on 135 or 125 Street in what is now Harlem in late 1880's. After Harlem they moved to Mt. Vernon NY. After Theodores death the family moved to 155 Corona in Pelham NY. At one time they lived across the street from Clarence Birdseye.

Theodore was a carpentor-stairmaker, mechanic and was an inventor of the Variety Machine, the patent for which was obtained by others. The family lived on 135 or 125 Street in what is now Harlem in late 1880's. After Harlem they moved to Mt. Vernon NY. After Theodores death the family moved to 155 Corona in Pelham NY. At one time they lived across the street from Clarence Birdseye.

Jack Teets Adams married Doris Eugenia Sanders.1 Jack Teets Adams was born on 24 February 1938 in Keyser, West Virginia.1 He was the son of Jesse Cook Adams and Mary Thelma Teets.1 Jack Teets Adams died on 22 February 2000 in Monongalia Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, Monongalia, West Virginia, at age 61.1

Jack Adams, 75, Preston, sports coach
Jack Teets Adams, of Aurora, Preston County, who took three teams to the West Virginia state basketball tournament, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2000, at Monongalia General Hospital. He was 75.
Among the players he coached was Bucky Bolyard, who went on to play for West Virginia University and a pro team, the Pittsburgh Rens of the American Basketball League. Adams was inducted into the West Virginia Athletic Hall of Fame for his work with youn g people.
"He was very competitive," recalled former player and student Dr. Mike Teets, of Kingwood. "He had strong convictions, and I think that was one of his strong points. Whatever he did, he had strong convictions about how to do it."
He was born Feb. 28, 1924, in Keyser, son of the late Jesse Cook Adams and Mary Thelma Teets.
He retired after 27 years as a teacher at Aurora School, where he also coached basketball and baseball. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a lifelong member of Aurora United Methodist Church, and was a member of the church choir, Aurora Internation al Order of Odd Fellows, the Retired Teachers' Association, AARP and the Aurora Historical Club. Members of the Ougabus Society counted him as an outstanding member.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Eugenia Sanders Adams; four sons, Jack Eugene Adams and James Daniel Adams, both of Aurora, and Charles Raymond Adams and Lawrence Patrick Adams, both of Oakland, Md.; two daughters, Judith Ann Paugh and Doris Jane Tichn ell, both of Aurora; a brother, Thomas Adams, of Aurora; a sister, Peggy Houser, of Aurora; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, James, and a sister, Sally Torno.
Friends may call at Aurora Memorial Building from 2-9 p.m. Thursday. Service at Aurora United Methodist Church will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, with the Rev. Joe Robinette officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ronald McCauley. Burial will be in Aurora Ceme tery.
