Jacob Wilfong Sr. was born between 1760 and 1761 in (West) Virginia.³ He was the son of George Michael Wildfang and Sophia Catarina Veitheim.² Jacob Wilfong Sr. married Mary McCorkle, daughter of Patrick McCorkle and Elizabeth (?), on 3 January 1786 in Botetourt, Virginia.^3,1 Jacob Wilfong Sr. married Regina Elizabeth Varner, daughter of Adam Varner and Christina Rexroad, on 6 May 1800 in Pendleton County, West Virginia.^4,5 Jacob Wilfong Sr. died circa May 1838 in Pendleton County, West Virginia.⁶
Jacob Wilfong Sr. was also known as Jacob Wildfang.⁷ In 1779, he was a private in the Augusta Militia. He was on the tax list of 1787 in Botetourt County, Va, but he was back in Pendleton County by 1790.¹ He left a will on 7 August 1834; Jacob filed a will naming his wife Regina and all 15 of his children.^4,8

Henry Wilfong was born in 1766 in Augusta, Virginia.^2,3 He was the son of George Michael Wildfang and Sophia Catarina Veitheim.¹ Henry Wilfong married Mary Elizabeth Simmons, daughter of George Simmons and Eve (?), in 1791.^4,5 Henry Wilfong married Mary Lamb on 4 March 1833 in Pendleton County, West Virginia.^6,7 Henry Wilfong died between 1840 and 1843 in Pendleton County, West Virginia.^4,5,2 His estate was probated on 4 May 1843 in Pendleton, West Virginia.⁸
Henry received a land grant in 1817 by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia.⁴ On April 1, 1833, Henry was granted a tract of land on Brushy Fork, 45 acres, by the Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia.⁴ He left a will on 9 January 1838 in Preston, West Virginia; Henry filed a will naming his wife Mary [Lamb], and his 7 living sons [John d. 1814].^9,10

Michael Wilfong was born on 15 November 1777 in Pendleton County, Virginia.² He was the son of George Michael Wildfang and Sophia Catarina Veitheim.^2,1 Michael Wilfong married Mary Margaret "Peggy" Hagey, daughter of Johann Martin Hagey and Maria Elizabetha Beamesderfer, on 19 March 1799 in Washington, Virginia.¹ Michael Wilfong died on 1 May 1850 in Campellsburg, Washington, Indiana, at age 72.^2,3 He was buried after 1 May 1850 in Cavetown Cemetery, Washington, Indiana.²
