for 3 hours or so, I wanted to take a minute to drop you a line & thank
you for all your hard work! I am the son of Danny Orris Wilfong (correct
spelling Dannie) and Bonnie Huffman and the grandson of Asa Wilfong and
Grace Strader. It appears you have been in contact with one of my
cousins, but we had not been told this family tree existed.
I would like to offer a few minor corrections and additions:
Correct spelling of my father's name is Dannie
He is now married to Carolyn Coon, not Carolyn Trussler. They have
no children
If you wish, you may add me as the son (and only child) of Dannie
Orris Wilfong and Bonnie Huffman. I married Deborah Kettner and we
have a daughter named Andrea.

Ocy was a teacher and principal in Braceville, Ohio. The building is now named after her and part of the Braceville Methodist Church is dedicated to her. She was very highly thought of in the community.⁶

Ivan was a semi-invalid for 35 years. He had encephalitis at age 15, a few years later Parkinson disease set in.⁶ He began military service on 15 October 1940 in Warren, Trumbull, Ohio.⁴
