    He was a member of the Church of Christ, Weirton and was retired, and was last employed by the Goodyear-Elkins Cannery in Elkins. He served in World War 1. He is survived by four daughters and one son; Surviving are Mrs. Eveyn Kirkpatrick, Georgtown, Pa., Mrs. Goldy Martin, New Cumberland, R. D. 1; Mrs Dorothy Robinson, New Cumberland R. D. 1; Mrs. Elizabeth Mazza Clarkston. One sister, Belva Parker, Akron, Ohio, also survives.
    Funeral services are incomplete and friends may call this evening at the Stewart - Turley Funeral Home in New Cumberland.

    My grandmother was Druzilla Belle Simon. She was first married to Ezra Kittle, second to my grandfather Lee Chenoweth Rowan and third to John Franklin Teets on 29 Dec 1935. I would like to suggest a correction to her burial place. It is a long story as to how she was buried where she is, but I will bypass that. I attended her funeral and burial and have subsequently visited her gravesite several times. She was buried in the Lower Rowan Cemetery near Mabie, Randolph Co, WV. Her gravesite is next to her first husband Ezra Kittle and her headstone reads "Zilla Rowan Teets". Her second husband, grandfather Lee is buried nearby with his first wife next to him. I suspect that John F Teets' first wife is buried next to him in the Mt Hebron Cemetery in Barbour Co.

    Grandma "Zillie" was the informant for John F Teets' death certificate and she apparently gave John's mother as Rachel Stevens. You have correctly listed John F Teets' mother as Catherine F Stevens. My suspicion is that grandma was confused at the time and stated the given name of granddad Lee's mother, her previous mother-in-law, who was Rachel Chenoweth. Just a guess.

    Born March 18, 1910, in Chicora, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Gustavus Jacob and Charlotte Edith Doty Myers. Her husband of 48 years, Edward J. Roche Sr., died in August 1983. She was a member of Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church in Hagerstown. She was a member of Fountainhead Country Club, the Arts and Letters of Hagerstown, and the Garden Club of Hagerstown.

    She is survived by two sons, Edward J. Roche Jr. of Wesley Chapel, Fla., and John M. Roche of Suffield, Conn.; four grandchildren, Michael E. Roche of Orlando, Fla., Karen R. Swann of Clermont, Fla., Susan A. Roche of South Portland, Maine and Stephen J. Roche of San Diego, Calif.; and two great-granddaughters.

    Graveside services will be Saturday at 1 p.m., in Hemphill Cemetery, in Chicora. The Rev. Mark A. Wallace will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gerald N.
