The oldest marked grave is Jonas W. Martin died 1838. The cemetery was read in the fall of 1983 by Clara Jett Lawson. Read again in April and May 1991 by Karon Lemley King and Billie Faye Adkins Drost.

     Alvin Adam McCrum married Margaret "Maggie" Shuttlesworth, daughter of Phillip Shuttlesworth and Charlotte Sapp.2 Alvin Adam McCrum was born on 7 September 1858 in West Virginia.1 He was the son of Summers West McCrum and Eliza Hough Nicklin.3,1 Alvin Adam McCrum died on 2 February 1935 in Aurora, Preston, West Virginia, at age 76.1 He was buried on 5 February 1935 in Aurora, Preston, West Virginia.1
     Partner of his father and brother, Page R. McCrum, in the mercantile business at Aurora, Preston Co, WV. Business later carried on by Summers Dailey
McCrum, being the oldest mercantile business in Preston Co, operated by 3 generations of the family. Also was the Postmaster of Aurora for many years.3

     Ida May Teets was born on 1 March 1880 in Red House, Maryland.1,4 She was the daughter of David Wilson Teets and Rebecca Ann Lantz.2,3 Ida May Teets was born in 1881.5 She married Lloyd Edward Hyre, son of John Dayton Hyre and Prudence "Prudie" Love, on 9 August 1899 in Peck's Run, Upshur, West Virginia.6,7,1,4 Ida May Teets died in 1958.5 She died on 1 July 1962 in Holbrook's Rest Home, Buckhannon, Upshur, West Virginia, at age 82.1,4 She was buried on 4 July 1962 in Pleasant View Cemetery, Upshur, West Virginia.4
