Linda Mae Purcell, 48, of Vacaville, passed away on Nov. 28, 2004, in West Sacramento in a motorcycle accident on her way to the annual Toys for Tots toy run.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at McCune Garden Chapel.
Pastor Frank Salamone will preside. Interment will follow at the Silveyville Cemetery in Dixon.
Linda was a homemaker and mother of eight. She enjoyed crafts, motorcycle runs and rides, discussing politics, scrapbooking, cake decorating and camping. She was also a NASCAR fan.
Linda is survived by her husband of 20 years, Alan "Al" Purcell Sr. of Vacaville; daughters, Jennifer Hellmann of Vacaville, Kristi Moreno of Vacaville, Becky Zinc of Chicago and Katheryn Purcell of Vacaville; sons, Jay Hellmann Jr. of Vacaville, Alan Purcell II of Vacaville, William Purcell of San Francisco and Tom Purcell; her mother, Patricia Dolan "Mimi" of Vacaville; brother, Fred Sandstrom; grandchildren, Jessica Moreno, Shaianne Moreno, RJ Hellmann, Kaylee West, Jade Moreno, Cody Hellmann and Savannah Moreno; best friends, Janet Wright, Vonnie Norris and Jimmy Feif; and long-time friend, Jay Hellmann Sr.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Fallen Riders Fund; South Vacaville; Bank of America, account #CA3-165-01-01.
We'll always remember her as a great wife, wonderful mother, beloved daughter and the best grandmother -you will always be in our hearts and memories.

Linda is survived by her husband of 20 years, Alan "Al" Purcell Sr. of Vacaville; daughters, Jennifer Hellmann of Vacaville, Kristi Moreno of Vacaville, Becky Zinc of Chicago and Katheryn Purcell of Vacaville; sons, Jay Hellmann Jr. of Vacaville, Alan Purcell II of Vacaville, William Purcell of San Francisco and Tom Purcell; her mother, Patricia Dolan "Mimi" of Vacaville; brother, Fred Sandstrom; grandchildren, Jessica Moreno, Shaianne Moreno, RJ Hellmann, Kaylee West, Jade Moreno, Cody Hellmann and Savannah Moreno; best friends, Janet Wright, Vonnie Norris and Jimmy Feif; and long-time friend, Jay Hellmann Sr.

Phyllis Wears Livesay of Kanawha City passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Hubbard Hospice House.
She was a retired accountant for Dolan & Kalaskey Orthodontists of Charleston. She was a member of Village Chapel Presbyterian Church, where she was active since the 50s. She graduated from Buffalo High School as Valedictorian and she was a graduate of the Charleston General Radiology Program where she worked as a radiologist.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, A. Paul Livesay; her parents, Harry Russell Wears and Kathryn Raynes Wears; and sister, Maxine Baldwin.
She is survived by daughter, Bunny Ambro of Dublin, Ohio; grandchildren, Laura (Sam Khoury), Philip, Jonathan, and Adam (Toni Kervina); sister, Eloise Gates of Charleston; brother, Lewis Wears of Jacksonville, Fla.; nephews and nieces, John (Linda) Gates, Mili (Gordon) Ring, Nancy Gates, Tim (Sue) Baldwin, Kasey (Stu) Werner, Charlotte Baldwin, Karen (Randy) Livesay, Tom (Susan) Hodgson, and Helen (Dave) Hodgson; and cousins, Bob (Diane) Wears, Jim (Clara) Wears, Bill (Ted) Wears, and Kathy (Marty) Connelly.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at Village Chapel Presbyterian Church, Charleston, with the Rev. Amy Parker officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
