A longtime resident of Great Bend, coming from Claflin, La Crosse, Wichita and Hays, she owned a restaurant in Wichita. She worked for the former Russell Clinic and was a dietitian at the former St. Rose Hospital and the Central Kansas Medical Center, all of Great Bend. She was a child caretaker in La Crosse and a homemaker.
    Mrs. Urban was a member of the Catholic community of Great Bend, St. Patrick Catholic Church, a member of the Altar Society and the Eagles Lodge. She was a past president of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary in La Crosse.
