He is survived by sons, Thomas (Rosemary) Wilfong, Ray (Wilma) Wilfong, Richard Wilfong all of Ravenna; daughters, Betty (Robert) Sarver of Rootstown, Sarah Simms of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and Evelyn Kay Root of Windham; step son, Clyde (Susan) Wilfong of North Carolina; step daughter, Annabelle (Kenny) McDaniels of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and brothers. He was born February 13, 1919, at Mill Point, the son of the late Brown and Maggie Kellison Wilfong.
In addition to his parents, a son, Max Wilfong, daughters, Nadine Powell, Jo Ann Charlington, sisters, Nelle McMillion, Mary Harkins, Erie Roberts, and brothers, George, Amon, Randolph and Dennis Wilfong preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Oscar Wilfong; four daughters, Carolyn Sue Wilfong, of Mill Point, Velma Zoe Wilfong, of Buckeye, Leslie Loretta Wilfong, of Elk, and Sharon Estep, of Tennessee; five sons, Gene Lyle Wilfong, of Buckeye, Andrew Wilfong, of Barboursville, Norman Wilfong, of Williamsburg, Glen Wilfong, of Akron, Ohio, and Zachary Grimes, of Buckeye; and two grandchildren.
Graveside service was at Ruckman Cemetery Saturday morning by Pastor Vincent Wine, with interment at Ruckman Cemetery in Buckeye.
