     Enos L. Wilfong was born on 23 January 1856 in Highland, Virginia.4,5,6,7,8,9,10,2 He was the son of Abel Morgan Wilfong and Sarah Elizabeth Waggy.2,3 Enos L. Wilfong was born in 1857.11 He married Nellie Helen Esson circa 1882.12 Enos L. Wilfong and Nellie Helen Esson were divorced before 1896.13 Enos L. Wilfong married Magdalene "Lena" Schuck, daughter of Peter Schuck and Caroline Graber, circa 1897.1 Enos L. Wilfong died on 4 June 1927 in Cleveland Heights, Cuyahoga, Ohio, at age 71.14,9,12,15 He was buried after 4 June 1927 in West Park, Cleveland, Ohio.14
     Enos L. Wilfong was also known as Ernest Wilfong.9

    Also surviving are three stepdaughters, Helen Toth and husband, Dan, of Cleveland, Ohio, Betty Tsuldin of Cleveland and Rosemary Thompson and husband, Joseph, of Yakima, Wash.; four stepsons, Merrill McCray and wife, Jiana, of Jacksonville, Fla., Franklin and Walter McCray, both of Cleveland and Danny McCray and wife, Mary, of Canton, Ohio; 18 stepgrandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Carolyn Caputo; three brothers, Wilbert, Dana and Jason Tenney; and one sister, Loretta Casto.

    He was a minister and a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church.

    Friends will be received Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jimmy Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Reger Cemetery at Teter.

     Jacob was killed by a shot while working in his corn field.1
