    She is survived by two sons, Pat and wife, Brenda Wilfong, of Monticello, Fla., and Roger and wife, Niska Wilfong, of Rock Cave; one daughter, Elaine and husband, Frank Cool, of Rock Cave; one granddaughter, Kristina M. Torrance of Tallahassee, Fla.; two great-granddaughters, Megan and Karlyn Torrance, both of Tallahassee, Fla.; one stepgranddaughter, Lisa Dean Mossburg of Huntington; one sister, Phyllis E. Brake of Marietta, Ohio; one stepsister, Betty Davidson of Marietta, Ohio; one stepbrother, Roy Ervin of Rock Cave.
    She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Harper Brake and Patrick G. Brake Jr.
    Mrs. Wilfong graduated from Buckhannon Upshur High School as valedictorian of her graduating class. She attended West Virginia Wesleyan College and taught elementary school for 20 years. She was a member of the Rock Cave United Methodist Church where she played the piano and taught Sunday school class for many years. She loved visiting with friends, feeding the birds, gardening and quilting.
    The family will receive friends at the Rock Cave United Methodist Church on Sunday, Sept. 2, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the funeral hour. with the Rev. Dan Lowther officiating. Intermentwill follow in the Rock Cave Cemetery. The Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

     Paul G. Wilfong was born on 15 June 1915 in Upshur, West Virginia.3,2 He was the son of Oscar Pedro Wilfong and Olive Elizabeth Miller.2 Paul G. Wilfong married Mildred Brake, daughter of Patrick G. Brake and Oleta G. Harper, in 1940.1 Paul G. Wilfong died on 10 September 2003 in Rock Cave, Upshur, West Virginia, at age 88.3,1
     Paul G. Wilfong began military service on 30 August 1943.4

She was a member of the Rock Cave United Methodist Church where she played the piano and taught Sunday school class for many years. She loved visiting with friends, feeding the birds, gardening and quilting.
    The family will receive friends at the Rock Cave United Methodist Church on Sunday, Sept. 2, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., the funeral hour. with the Rev. Dan Lowther officiating. Intermentwill follow in the Rock Cave Cemetery. The Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
