    He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beauty Love Hoffman Stansberry; one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Alice Ann) Belmont of Morgantown; one sister Ethel West of Fairmont; one granddaughter, Leah Joyell Stansberry; and three grandsons, George Belmont, Mark Belmont and Brian Belmont.
    He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
    Friends may call at Hastings Funeral Home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and at Mount View Free Methodist Church from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, time of service with the Revs, Henry Garletts and Rusty McClurg officiating. He was also an airline transport pilot, and taught aviation in South Dakota, New Jersey and West Virginia, and became a federal aviation examiner. He attended Trinity Episcopal Church in Morgantown, where he was a member of the choir. He was als o a former choir director in Weston and Fairmont. He was a faithful participant in the Community Monday Evening Bible Study. He was also a member of the St. John's No. 24 Masonic Lodge of Shinnston. He is survived by his wife, Alice Stansberry Belmont; three sons and spouses, George Paul Belmont, of Birmingham, Ala., Brian John and Patricia Belmont, of Denver, Colo., and Mark Richard and Alicia Belmont, of Smithville, Ohio; a daughter, Leah Stansberry, of Bethesda, Md.; a brother, Don Rabe, of Denver; two sisters, Linda Rabe, of Rapid City, S.D., and Lorna Rabe, of Pittsburgh; and two grandchildren, Kristie Belmont and Hannah Belmont.     Friends may call at Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, Fairmont, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday, and at Pisgah United Methodist Church from 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, until the 2 p.m. service, with the Revs. Tom Shepherd and Stephanie Bennett, granddaughter of the deceased, officiating.     He was a former member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, where he served as a board member and usher. More recently, he attended and was a board member of Mount View Free Methodist Church.
    He was a former employee of the Monongalia County Board of Education, where he served as head mechanic and school bus driver for more than 36 years. He was active in nursing home ministries in the community. He served on the Health Care Cost Review Association of Monongalia County.
    He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beauty Love Hoffman Stansberry; one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Alice Ann) Belmont of Morgantown; one sister Ethel West of Fairmont; one granddaughter, Leah Joyell Stansberry; and three grandsons, George Belmont, Mark Belmont and Brian Belmont.
    He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
