James proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the 201st National Guard. He retired from Alcan Aluminum after 44 years of service. James was a member of the VFW and the Korean War Veterans. He enjoyed reading, building model cars, planes and trains. He collected books and especially enjoyed his train books. James loved dogs and cats and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. James is survived by his wife of 48 years Margaret Alberta Poling Wilfong; his sons James H. Wilfong and his wife Kathy of Crestview, Fla., Raymond C.
