     Nathan Hollen was born on 9 September 1827 in Barbour, West Virginia.1 He was the son of Joseph Zebulon Hollen and Margaret Usher.1 Nathan Hollen married Mary Ann Matheny on 2 September 1852 in Upshur, West Virginia.2 Nathan Hollen died on 3 March 1871 in Wesley Chapel, Green Bank, Pocahontas, West Virginia, at age 43.1 He was buried after 3 March 1871 in Sutton Cemetery, Pocahontas, West Virginia.1
