He was born Sept. 10, 1920, in Ellamore, a son of the late Homer O. Booth and Lela M. (Davis) Booth.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Juanita B. (Demoss) Booth; two brothers, Wayne Booth and wife, Jo Booth, of Calabash, N.C., and Richard D. Booth and wife, Betty Booth, of Buckhannon; and also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Booth served in the U.S. Marie Corps from 1942 to 1945 and he was an accountant for the Monongahela Power Company in Fairmont for 18 years. He was a life member of the VFW Memorial City Post 3081 and served as their former Commander and District Commander. He attended the Blueville United Methodist Church in Grafton.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Sunday, Oct. 4 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Monday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jeffrey N. Winter officiating.Interment will follow at the Bluemont Cemetery in Grafton.
