She was born Sept. 15, 1937, at Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Clyde Burton and Stella Katherine Wilfong Casto.
On April 16, 1957, she married Donald Ray Hamner, who preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 1969.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sue Farnsworth and Donna Lower; an infant son; three grandsons, Scotty and Doug Farnsworth and Titus Hamner; one sister, Ellie Burr; three brothers, Dennis, James "Homer" and Robert "Dode" Casto; and Tony Willis, fiance of Shirley Hamner.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME OF FARMINGTON, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Visitation will continue on Saturday, in Farmington Bethel Church of the Brethren, from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Larry Walker, her Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Winifred G. Spaw, 88, of Farmington, Pa., passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2003, in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born Jan. 20, 1915, in Five Forks, Pa., daughter of the late Demerit and Edith Boyd Teets.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George V. Spaw in September of 1982; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Spaw in 2002; and three brothers, Robert, Donald and William Teets.
Surviving are these children, George D. Spaw and wife, Judy of Farmington, Patricia L. LaClair and husband, Porter of Frostburg, Md., Constance G. Adenhart and husband, James of Fairplay, Md.; Lucille M. Dennis and husband, Richard of Markleysburg, and Lawrence R. Spaw of Farmington; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and these brothers and sisters, Mildred Morgan of Markleysburg, Ray Teets of Sidney, Ohio, Wilbur Teets of Lemont Furnace, Beatrice Snyder of McClellandtown, Ivan Teets and Betty June Early, both of Uniontown, and Ervin Teets of Romney, W.Va.
